Digging deep into the like of iconoclastic figurehead Norman Keith "Sailor Jerry" Collins, this documentary takes a close look at the "New American Folk Art" he created in the WWII era. With rare interviews, photographs, and archival footage, the film explores the past, present , and future of the phenomenon of tattooing. tattoo fans that attended this year's SXSW Festival will have had three chances to catch a screening of the documentary.
